Papua New Guinea mask with cassowary feathers, cowrie shells and boar's tusks
This Sepik River mask has nice artwork and decorations. The mask is made of clay, wood, cowrie shell, cassowary feathers, boar's tusks, pearl-shell and fiber. The carved wooden part is 36" tall, 11" wide and 4" deep. With the feathers it is about 42" tall, 20"wide and 4" deep.
