Composite sculpture of Roman wrestlers by A. Santini

This is an Italian marble/alabaster/resin composition sculpture of The Wrestlers (also known as The Two Wrestlers, The Uffizi Wrestlers or The Pancrastinae) by Amiloare Santini (Italian, 1910-1975).  This is a copy of the Roman marble sculpture now in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy after a lost Greek original of the third century BCE.  It is signed A. Santini, titled Lotta (Italian for Fight) and has a tag on the bottom.  The statue is 8-1/2" wide, 7-1/2" tall and 4" deep.
