Composite sculpture of Michelangelo's Pieta by A. Santini

This is an Italian marble/alabaster/resin composition sculpture of the Pietà (The Pity) by Amiloare Santini (Italian, 1910-1975). This is a copy of the Renaissance sculpture by Michelangelo Buonarroti, housed in St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City. It is signed A. Santini and has a tag on the bottom. The statue is 5" wide, 6-1/2" tall and 3" deep.
