Thai Kinnari wooden sculpture with gold leaf and mirror inlay

A kinnara is a male creature from Hindu and Buddhist mythology, depicted as a half bird, half human. Kinnari is the female form depicted as a half-bird, half-woman creature. The wooden statue is 33-1/2" tall, 10" wide and 12" deep. It has been decorated using gold leaf and colored mirror pieces.​
