PAST COLLECTION ITEM Large bronze sculpture of a jockey on horse after Pierre-Jules MêneThis is a bronze sculpture of a jockey and a horse after the original work of French sculptor Pierre-Jules Mêne (1810-1879). It depicts the jockey astride his thoroughbred horse, loosely holding the reins. It features beautiful definition and detail. The sculpture is presented atop an oval green bronze plinth on which a replica signature of Pierre Jules Menê is present. Overall, the sculpture is 40" tall, 42" long, 16" deep and 80 lb in weight.
