PAST COLLECTION ITEM Rare 3 piece set of Abbeydale Chrysanthemum English bone China soup and sauce tureensThis is a rare set of Abbeydale, Derbyshire, Chrysanthemum English bone china soup and sauce tureens from the second quarter of the 20th century. The lidded soup tureen is elliptical in shape and is 10" tall, 15" wide and 9" deep. The pair of lidded sauce tureens are of footed octagonal form with paneled cover of "pagoda roof" form. They are 8" tall, 7-1/4" wide and 7-1/4" deep. The pieces have been painted with alternating panels of flowers and patterns on white ground in black rust and gold color. The base and the interior of the lids are marked in iron-red transfer print "Chrysanthemum Abbeydale Duffield Derbyshire Bone China Made in England".
