PAST COLLECTION ITEM Vintage photograph of Dante's View of Death Valley, CA by Clinton SmithThis is a rare limited edition cibachrome print of a photograph, titled Dante's View, Death Valley, CA taken by Clinton Smith in 1980. It is nicely matted with thick paper. It is pencil signed and dated 1990, edition 4/100. The white in the picture are where it appears like a great sparkling ocean - instead it is solid halite salt deposits. Frame is 27.5"x 32.25" in size. When I contacted the artist he told me that he has destroyed all the negatives. So, it is no longer possible to get this item.
