Life size sculpture of St. Nicholas santos figure

This is a large paint decorated santos figure of St. Nicholas, depicted grasping a book and silvered spheres, beside three small putti. This plaster sculpture was made in Rome, Italy around 1958. The statue has glass eyes. On the side of the pedestal there is a brass plaque reading "Presented to St. Nicholas School by the Marini Sisters, 1958". There is also a metal plaque with the name of the manufacturer reading "ARTE SACRA, Francesco Rosa & C. S.p.A., Corso Vittorio Emanuele, 2, ROMA."
