Antique Continental style ebonized and gilt wood carved sculpture depicting a warrior

This is a Continental style wood carved sculpture depicting a warrior, possibly an African tribal one.  The body is dark black while the loin cloth is gilded.  He is holding some weapons on his hands. It is 37" tall, 18" wide, 12" deep and weighs 23 lb.
