This is an original 1974 lithograph exhibition poster from the Musée National Message Biblique Marc Chagall related to works of Marc Chagall (American/French/Russian 1887-1985). The poster image shows Chagall's L'ange du Jugement (The Angel of Judgement) and states Maquettes pour l'oeuvre Monumental Juillet-Septembre 1974, Nice. This lithograph was executed by master printmaker Charles Sorlier (French, 1921-1990) after Marc Chagall's original. It was printed in 1974 with an edition size of 5000 by Fernand Mourlot's Mourlot Studios, Paris and published by the Society of Friends of the National Marc Chagall Biblical Message Museum, Nice. The overall dimensions with the frame are about 30"x21".
