PAST COLLECTION ITEM Antique English spinning wheel once in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of ArtThis English wooden spinning wheel is from the late 18th/early 19th century. Until 2017 it was in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. It has many turned wooden parts. It has gilt floral decorations on the black lacquered surfaces. It is 34-1/2" high, 25" wide and 20" deep.
