It is signed. This painting is likely from the first half of the 20th century. She was the wife of Willard N. Clute (1869-1950), the American author, naturalist and botanist. She illustrated some of his works. The ornate frame is 31"x27" in size. There is slight loss of the golden paint on the frame.
