Rosewood inlay art from India depicting a tiger in the forest

This is a beautiful marquetry artwork showing a royal Bengal tiger walking in the forest. It is 23.5" wide, 35.5" tall and quite heavy. This art form is practiced in Mysore, India. Pieces of various types of wood are put together to form an image which is a very labor intensive process.
