PAST COLLECTION ITEM Jean-Claude Gaugy wood relief carving of The Prophet and the Tree of LifeThis is a large and rare stained wood relief artwork by the French American artist Jean-Claude Gaugy who is famous for his "Linear Expressionist'' style. This is one of his early works from the 1970's and is quite unique. His current style is more in color and those works are still available, but what he did a few decades ago are not so easy to find. The artwork is quite heavy and is 23"x60" in size.
