PAST COLLECTION ITEM Replica oil on canvas painting Madame Charpentier and Her Children by Renoir in ornate frameBeautiful hand painted oil on canvas reproduction of Madame Charpentier and Her Children (1878) by the famous impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The original is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. It has been done by an unknown artist. It's even signed "Renoir". This large painting is framed (48"x42") in a gilded wood and gesso frame. When I looked at the back the canvas seems quite old.
