PAST COLLECTION ITEM Bronze erotic sculpture Techno Lover after Rudolfo Bucacio, once owned by Jenna JamesonCaution: This item has nudity and is not appropriate for everyone. This is a bronze reproduction sculpture inspired by the original titled Techno Lover, 1993 created by the German artist Rudolfo Bucacio (or Boccaccio) (born 1933). It depicts a robot holding a nude woman in an erotic position while making love. Bronze and silver patina has been used on the robot and the woman, respectively. It is 42" tall, 22" wide, 15" deep and weighs about 110 lb. The previous owner told me that this sculpture was given as a gift in the 2002 or 2003 AVN Expo to the actress Jenna Jameson. She kept it in her home and then her office until 2007 when she gave it away as a gift to her assistant/director/friend when he moved to Los Angeles. I got it from him in Los Angeles, CA, USA in 2015. FINE ARTS Wohnkultur GmbH indicates the motivation for this art piece saying the sculpture tells the story of unfulfilled love of an erotic woman. Because she was always disappointed by her lovers, she created her ideal man, a robot, using a flame cutter. A link to a nice promotion video for this sculpture by FINE ARTS Wohnkultur GmbH is provided in this page. Very few copies of this sculpture exist online. I found just a few auction listings. One of similar size was auctioned by Bellmans Auctioneers & Valuers in the UK. Here is the listing. Because of the unusual nature of this sculpture there was even an article in the newspaper with the headline Erotic sculptures raise eyebrows.
