Pair of faux ivory statues of Kwan Yin and another Oriental God

These are a vintage pair of sculptures that belonged to a 90 year old person. They are made from some sort of material that has the looks of ivory. These amazing pieces have intricate features. One of the statues is that of Goddess of Mercy and I think the other is probably one of the immortal Gods of Chinese mythology. Each of them are about 25" tall and 10 lb in weight.
