PAST COLLECTION ITEM Japanese circular lacquer painting depicting white cranes on a pine treeThis is a vintage Japanese lacquer art painted on gold leaf surface. Three white cranes (Tsuru) which are symbols of long life and happiness are sitting on a pine tree branch. This was acquired by someone who used to travel all over the world. I think the item is from the 1950's. The frame is circular with a diameter of 32".
