PAST COLLECTION ITEM Venus de Milo plaster sculptureThis is a reproduction sculpture of Venus de Milo, also known as Aphrodite of Milos made using plaster of Paris. It is 33-1/2" tall, 10" wide, 8" deep and about 20 lb in weight. The original marble statue is one of the most famous works of ancient Greek sculpture, created sometime between 130 BC and 100 BC. It is believed to depict Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty (Venus to the Romans).
