PAST COLLECTION ITEM 1940's Art Deco torchiere floor lamp with silverplate metal baseThis is an antique Art Deco era floor lamp from the 1940's. The ornate metal base is silver plated and has nice patterns on it. The lamp with the shade is 64-1/2" tall and the glass shade is 12" wide. The white glass bell shaped shade has an unusual shape and nice floral features. The lamp comes with a E40 mogul base socket (wider than standard) for the bulb and has a maximum rating of 1500 W. The 3-way switch allows a large 100/200/300 W 3-way bulb with mogul base to be used on it.
