PAST COLLECTION ITEM Pair of mid-century lamps with glass shades decorated with floral patternsThis is a pair of vintage table lamps with unique glass shades, thought to be from mid-century. The lamps are about 22" tall including the chimney and the top shades are about 15" wide. In addition to the main lamp under the top shade there is another lamp in the glass globe at the bottom. The glass used in this lamp has shiny, metallic, iridescent surface shimmer as in carnival glass. The main shade and the globe have nice flower and leaf patterns etched or cut on them. The main shade is placed on an ornate brass ring while a heavy glass chimney with nice surface texture is placed in the center. The base is ornate and made of brass. These lamps seem to have Victorian design influence. The switch has 3 options for lighting: (1) first lights up bottom bulb, (2) then switches and lights up the top bulb, and (3) finally switches both bulbs at the same time.
