PAST COLLECTION ITEM Antique silver on copper vase with repousse floral decorationThis is a late 19th century antique silver on copper vase with beautiful repoussé flora decorations. Repoussé is an embossing technique of metal working. The vase is 18" tall and the top and bottom diameters are about 7". It is about 2 lb-3 lb in weight. It has hallmarks stamped near the top. An auction appraiser told me it might have been made by Hanau silversmiths in Germany.
