PAST COLLECTION ITEM 1890 oil on canvas painting of a child by Frank Hector TompkinsThis is an oil on canvas painting by well known artist Frank Hector Tompkins (American, 1847-1922) depicting the portrait of a young child. This painting was in a local museum since 1970 until I acquired it in 2013. This painting is from 1890, as can be read from the writing on the top right of the painting "Sketch of Master Frank Berry, Jr. 1890, FHT". The oak frame is 18" by 22".
