PAST COLLECTION ITEM Sculpture of Atlas holding the Earth on his shouldersThis is a sculpture of Atlas holding the Earth (of Greek mythology) on his shoulders, although it is a misconception because Classical art shows Atlas holding the celestial spheres, not a globe. The statue is 15" tall and seems to have been made from some sort of resin and painted to look like bronze.
