PAST COLLECTION ITEM Large wood carved round plaque from ThailandThis is a large hand carved round wooden disk for decoration. It is 36" in diameter and 1" thick. It is made from monkey wood. On one side there are beautiful carvings of people, fish, fruits, etc. On the reverse side there are patterns of a 10x10 square sort of a playing board. I am not quite sure what that is for, though. The item is quite heavy. It could possibly be used as a table top as well.
