Large ironwood sculptures of man and woman from Bali

These are a pair of beautiful and high quality wooden statues from the 1950's made in Bali, Indonesia. They can be also be used as bookends. One of them is male and the other is a female. They seems to have been carved out of solid ironwood. The statues are about 12"-13" tall and are very heavy. The combined weight of the pair is about 11 lb.
