PAST COLLECTION ITEM Antique bronze vessel with three dolphin feetThis is an antique cage shaped bronze vessel made from circular pieces. It could be some sort of incense burner or something else. There are some inscriptions (possibly Arabic or Chinese) on the pieces. It could be from the Mediterranean, the Middle-East or East Asia. It has 3 legs, the ends of which are in the shape of dolphins. It is about 23" tall, 12" in diameter and weighs about 15 lb. It is thought to be from the 19th century, but so far no appraiser has been able to tell me exactly what this item is. If someone in the web knows about it please let me know.
