Large Alebrije Mexican folk art sculpture of a scorpion on the back of a lizard

This is a brightly painted Alebrije wooden carving from Oaxaca, Mexico depicting a scorpion perched on the back of a lizard.  It was created by the very well-known artist Jacobo Ángeles (Mexican, born 1973) and his wife María Ángeles. It is signed on the bottom of the sculpture. It is 27" wide, 9" high, and 13" deep which is pretty large for this art form.
