PAST COLLECTION ITEM Large 19th century painting of a gypsy woman by Astley David Middleton CooperThis is an 1890's fine oil on canvas painting depicting a lovely gypsy woman by the well known artist Astley David Middleton Cooper (American, 1856-1924). It is signed "A. D. Cooper" on the lower left. The painting sight is 29.5"x50". The size of the ornate frame is 41"x61". There is a small area on this painting which was repaired in 1986 and is noted on the back of the painting. He is a well known "California Movement" artist.
