Maitland-Smith wooden egg centerpiece on brass stand

This is a lacquered egg shaped object d'art (centerpiece) on a solid brass turned pedestal by Maitland-Smith. The ovoid carved wood egg has black marbleized finish. Overall the centerpiece is 19" tall with the stand and weighs about 10 lb in weight. The wooden egg itself is about 11" tall and 8" wide. The base is about 8.5" tall and the base is 7" wide.
