PAST COLLECTION ITEM Marilyn Monroe hand signed black and white photograph taken by Laszlo WillingerThis is one of the finest Marilyn Monroe autographed photographs. This photo was taken by Laszlo Willinger circa 1950 as she was beginning to get work in films, very early in her career. Here is some information about this photo taken by Laszlo Willinger. It is titled Glamour (After film “All about Eve”). Online, I found a page where someone has compiled an interesting list of Marilyn Monroe's photographers in alphabetical order, including Laszlo Willinger. In this photograph she is wearing a strapless dress and diamond earrings with her arms perched on the back of a chair, glancing sideways and away from the camera. It is an original print with a matte finish and is hand signed by her in red fountain pen ink. The exact year when it was signed is not known, but is thought to be circa 1950. The photo itself is about 8" x 10" and the beautiful frame is about 12.5"x15". It is very collectible for Marilyn Monroe collectors. I have seen only 2 other copies of this gorgeous signed photo. Both those 2 photographs are signed in blue. I think the one I own is better because it is easy to see the red signature. Here is a color version of a similar image. I think it was colorized from the original black and white image.
