PAST COLLECTION ITEM 19th century oil on canvas painting of a lady doing needleworkThis is an original European oil painting from 1876 with a beautiful golden ornate frame (21"x25") depicting an old lady doing needlework outside her home. A rooster and hens can also be seen along with a flower plant. It is signed A. Maillard and dated. One can notice that the old lady is wearing clogs and a traditional Dutch hat. So, this is most likely a Dutch painting. Some crackling of the paint due to age can be observed.
