PAST COLLECTION ITEM Jules Moigniez bronze sculpture of an owl flying off a tree branchThis is a large and heavy bronze sculpture depicting an owl taking off in flight from a branch. This is after the original sculpture created by the famous French animalier sculptor Jules Moigniez (1835-1894). It is mounted on a black marble base and signed J. Moigniez on the bronze near the base. The sculpture is overall about 29" tall, 25" wide and weighs about 65 lb.
