PAST COLLECTION ITEM Unique Native American stone tomahawk war club movie propThis is a one of a kind tomahawk war club originally commissioned as a movie prop. It is a full sized Navajo club made in Arizona in the beginning of this century. A large, smooth stone is firmly affixed by a wide leather strap to the handle, covered by a rabbit fur swath. The handle is fully covered with tightly stitched smooth leather. Two areas of the handle have inlaid, fine stone beaded grips. A horsetail tassel hangs from the handle end as do two sliced bone, wood and brass straps halfway along the grip. Superb craftsmanship can be seen in this full sized 22" long war club. Nothing like this exists in the web or in eBay.
